PARVEEN manufactures different types of Weld on Type Tool Joint for fabricators of drill pipes in many countries according to API spec.-7 and APi-RP-7G and authorize to put API-7 monogram on it. Tool joints are welded on drillpipes using both Flash welding and Friction welding methods. For weld on Type Tool Joints ends can be upsetted as per API-5D to be compatible with drill pipe ends. We can also supply Screw-on-Type Tool Joint on request.
AISI - 4135/4137/4140 or 4145-H (Modified) materials of Tool Joint are obtained from forged steel of Cr-Mo alloy steels, which are carefully selected and wet fluorescent magnetic partic-le / ultrasonic tested prior to use. Tool Joints are quenched & tempered to ensure following mechanical prop-erties.
Parveen carries out also high quality hard facing which increases the life of Tool Joint substantially in comparison with unhard faced tool joint. Different widths and mesh sizes of tungsten carbide for hard band are vailable on request.
To prevent corrosion and for resistance to abrasion, internal coating can be app-lied upon request. Marking of the Tool Joint is carried out as per API-7. Parveen is also authorized to put API-7 monogram for Tool Joint.

- Drill Pipe size, P.P.F, Material, Type of upset and Range.
- Tool Joint O.D. & I.D.
- Connection Size & Type.
- Tool Joint Length (API Standard or 1" or 2" longer than standard available on both Box & Pin.)
- Box O.D, whether hard banded or without hard banded, including type of hardbanding desired.
- Type of internal coating required.
- Description of any special marking required, such as stamping or string number.
