PARVEEN Single Shear Seal Bop is designed primarily for use with coiled tubing operations with Single Shear Cum Blind Ram cinfiguration.

Shear Seal Ram
Shear Seal Ram Shears pipe and seal the well bore in one operation. They also function as Blind Ram for normal operations. When shearing, the lower blade passes below the sharp lower edge of the Ram Block and shears the pipe. The upper section of the cut pipe is accomodated in the recess in the top. When the coil tubing is cut under tension, it leaves a void in between shearing blade and stripper. So closing motion of the ram continue until the ram block vis-a-vis inner seal ends meet. Sometime, after shearing, the coil tubing is required to be pulled out to effect closure of Blind Ram. The closing motion of the Left Hand and Right Hand Ram blocks push the horizontal seal forward which result in tight sealing. Parveen Shear Seal Ram directly meet NACE requirement for H2S service. It is not subjected to S.S.C. corrosion in H2S environment when the ram is in closed position.
